Jamie Drysdale is sticking with the Philadelphia Flyers for the foreseeable future.
The two sides officially settled on a four-year deal on Friday, carrying an average annual value of $6.5 million, to avoid arbitration.
Per PuckPedia, his hearing was scheduled for Monday.
Drysdale, 24, joined the Flyers in 2024 after he was traded by the Anaheim Ducks, along with a 2025 second-round pick (Jack Murtagh), in exchange for Cutter Gauthier.
“We're excited to have Jamie remain a key part of our organization for years to come,” said GM Daniel Briere through a statement. "Since we acquired him, Jamie has worked extremely hard and taken big steps in his development, and has established himself as a reliable piece on our back end with the ability to impact the game in all situations. We believe his best hockey is still ahead of him, and he's going to play an important role in strengthening our blue line as we continue to build.”
The Toronto native made 78 regular-season appearances for Philadelphia in 2025-26, setting a new career-high for goals with eight and tying his NHL-best mark of 32 points. The sixth-year defenceman also chipped in two goals and two assists through 10 playoff games last season. He ranked second among D-men on the team for points last season, behind only Travis Sanheim.
Drysdale was the sixth-overall pick in 2020 by Anaheim and spent the first 3.5 years of his career with the Ducks. He's totalled 102 regular-season points (25 goals, 77 assists) over 295 games between Anaheim and Philadelphia.
